It has been a long while since my last blog because I decided to expand my coaching skills even further to better serve my clients. In February 2024, I became an Internationally Certified RESULTS Coach, which allows me to incorporate dynamic coaching techniques and approaches into Under Your Hat Life Coaching which boosted the value of our services to our clients. My coaching now includes a number of traditional coaching approaches based on the scientifically supported principles of psychology PLUS the dynamic approaches based on neuro-science.
This exciting addition now enables us to provide a far greater breadth and depth of coaching techniques and tools, mixed and matched to meet individual client needs and enables a suite of coaching programs that clients can choose - still tailored to the individual. Keep an eye out for our new suite of programs to be posted! Yours with gratitude. Carmel.

Who I Am.
I work in my own business, creating change in people’s ability to deal with life and living; that contributes to the wellness and resilience of individuals, families, workplaces and communities in regional areas. I want to help those struggling with issues in their everyday lives, to see their path into the future with hope, possibility, and strength and to have confidence in their ability to achieve what they want for themselves. I am a life coach who walks beside my clients in their journey of change, while they learn about themselves, their hopes and their internal barriers. I have personally taken this journey myself, many times. Two years ago, my passion to help others navigate this fast-paced, pressurised world, led me to take a leap of faith in my own life. My life was being increasingly impacted by people who were struggling – truly feeling there was ‘no other way’. I decided to become a formally trained coach & mentor, leaving behind a long career working for an organisation. But the plan had been formulating over many years – I was holding myself back by worrying about money, security, my abilities, the risks, my excuses – after all it’s “better the devil you know” – right? Well NO! – staying in that secure, well paid job which I had built my life around for decades was actually not allowing me to doing something I was passionate about. Finally, in 2021, I began to take actions in that plan that had been nagging in my mind for most of my life. Now I have my accredited life coaching degree and a career coaching specialist certificate (and probably many more specialisations to come) to top off extensive experience in a myriad of subjects and lived experiences. My coaching peers support my efforts to live my passion, and I would love to do that for others. I can now live my personal values - authenticity, hope, knowledge, self-worth, respect and honesty – by helping others with my professional, confidential person-centric coaching business. Are you ready to take your ‘leap of faith’? |
