What if I feel coaching is not working for me after starting a program?
Under Your Hat practices transparency, confidentiality, and relational work with every client. There must be an official and binding Agreement for any coaching relationship, mentoring or consulting services.
Our Agreement comprehensively addresses the client’s coaching goals, roles and responsibilities of both parties, payment terms and refund arrangements.It emphasizes the importance that client’s honest feedback holds in relation to the work done and client satisfaction with specific techniques, tools, approaches, progress toward goals and rapport between client and coach/mentor. Frequent feedback and check-ins help to ensure the work and the relationship remain appropriate for the client’s need.

Ways to maximise your experience and outcomes:
- NO SURPRISES. Any concerns of either party must be communicated immediately they arise. This ensures that early adjustments can be discussed and mutually agreed.
- REFUNDS. You will be refunded in full for any future prepaid and unused session(s) when:
- Both parties agree that there are appropriate reasons to terminate the agreement. Those reasons must be discussed openly, in a timely manner, and root causes identified as appropriate.
- The Coach finds they are not able to support the needs of the client. A referral to a clinician or GP may be required before coaching continues.
- NO REFUND. It is at the Coach’s discretion whether or not to refund any pre-paid and unused sessions. Refunds will not be provided when –
- The client decides they no longer wish to honour the agreement without grounds to the satisfaction of the coach
- The client has not been actively engaged to move themselves forward toward their agreed coaching goal.
- The client is not fully participating in sessions and any assigned between-session activities.
