Values set our direction, not our destination. Where ever our journey takes us, our values remain within us. They often show themselves as "gut feelings". When you know what values are precious to you, you are more resilient when you find yourself in rough times as they send you signals when you are travelling in the wrong direction.
I recommend that you express your values within action statements, as it helps to define and deepen your understanding of them.
For example, a value of AUTHENTICITY may be expressed as "being AUTHENTIC in my thoughts, actions, words and ambitions"
