MAP

Just as a boat can sail to certain destinations, people reach GOALS - specific and concrete destinations you choose.
Goal setting and achievement is important to enhance your focus, energise you and allow you to put values into actions.
Goals are something to strive towards.

Achieving meaningful goals builds CONFIDENCE which, in turn, increases your strengths. 
Goals define where you're going - a map tells you how to get there.
Your map is the step by step process by which you can reach your destination.

Without clarity around your goals and actions, you may just be bobbing on the tides of life.
I recommend using the SMART-E* approach to goal setting: make sure they are:-
Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timebound and Ecologically checked.
